Oral Surgery Assistant

We are an oral surgery office in San Ramon, offering mainly wisdom teeth extraction and dental implant procedures. We place strong emphasis on providing positive experiences to our patients. We are looking for an oral surgery assistant to join our team. Experience is desired, but we are prepared to train. Pay will be based on prior experience.

Responsibilities and duties:

Prepare examination rooms for appointments

Sterilize instruments and ensure all necessary equipment is ready

Assist dentist chairside, handing instruments and suctioning

Greet patients as they arrive and discharge patients after procedures

Provide preoperative and postoperative instructions to patients

Take X-rays of patients

Schedule patient appointments

Take billing and insurance details from patients

This is a PART TIME position: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Starting salary is $20 -28/hour, based on experience.
