Marine Technician or Porter - NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

Summit Boats is a growing Marine Dealership.

We are looking for someone to do multiple jobs in our shop. Everything from mechanic work to detailing interiors and exteriors of boats, oil changes, transmission fluid changes, trailer repairs, tower installation, radio installation, winterizations and many other jobs. Immediate priorities would be assisting with winterizations, towing boats with a company truck, and moving boats with a forklift.

We are very willing to train the right person. Must be driven, reliable, and know how to multi-task. A can-do attitude and being a team player goes a long way here.

Requirements

Basic Vehicle Maintenance Experience - oil changes, battery changes, etc (REQUIRED)

Valid Driver License (Required)

Must be able to pass Back Ground Check

Nice to Have Skills/Experience:

Boat Mechanical Experience (not a must)

Detailing Experience (not a must)

Personal Standard Tools Preferred (not a must)

Shrink wrapping experience (not a must)

Boating Experience Preferred (operating, driving, and towing)

Small Engine Mechanics (not a must)

Forklift/Tractor Operating Experience (not a must)

This position is a year round, 40 hour a week position. General operating hours are Monday through Friday,

9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Willing to do part time or temporary for the right individual.

Up to $20 an hour to start (Depending On Experience). Can start much higher if you meet the qualifications to fill our Mechanic position, which is also available.
