Supports the Quality Department reporting all food safety and quality issues that might arise at the warehouse in Chesapeake and any other TF facilities.

Performs product inspections during receiving, storage and shipping, in and from the warehouse. ( In accordance with SOP – TFWH 01 and product specifications)

Reports product non-conformities and findings related to: Food Safety, Quality, Packaging, Labeling, Specifications, etc.

Until closure, communicates and does the follow up of the Corrective Actions to vendors and TF accounting department. ( Elaborates the CA report and keeps the CA tracking list updated)

Checks Vendor documents weekly and when required, but always before product shipment arrivals.

Inspects food product labels to assure FDA compliance and accuracy of nutrition facts values.

Performs and keeps records of weekly warehouse inspection walkthroughs. This activity is done in order to assure that GMP and other pre - requirements are maintained (i.e. assures that pest control traps are in place, that there is no signals of pest activity, proper lighting, no damages, etc.)

On demand, prepares samples, coordinates the shipping and completes the related records.

Other duties that might be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

The essential functions of this role include:

working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
