The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology seeks to hire a part-time marketing and communications coordinator to provide support and assistance in development, design, creation and troubleshooting of the department's website and social media.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage the department's social media platforms and web content
Serve as the department's photographer (if needed)
Coordinate with the ECoS Communications Office to provide department information for communications materials
Meet with faculty, staff, and student members of the department to create fresh and engaging content for the department's website
Serve as liaison to university news outlets (e.g. Penn State Today, Research Penn State Magazine, etc.) to showcase departmental news and research accomplishmentsEducation and Experience:
Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Additional Information:
