PC Technician

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a PC Technician based in New York. This role is within the IT Software industry and involves providing IT support. The successful candidate will be tasked with handling basic troubleshooting for iPads, printers, and wifi, as well as managing site assignments.Responsibilities: Offer IT support Troubleshoot basic iPad issues and ensure optimal device performance Handle printer hardware issues and conduct routine maintenance Address wifi connectivity problems and execute appropriate solutions Conduct training sessions on the use and maintenance of IT equipment Assign and manage site responsibilities as necessary Maintain a thorough understanding of PC skills to facilitate effective troubleshooting Regularly update your knowledge on printer hardware, iPad, and other relevant technologies Collaborate with the IT team to ensure smooth and efficient IT operations Adhere to all IT policies and procedures, ensuring compliance at all timesRequirements Must possess an educational degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, or related field Requires a minimum of 1-year experience in an IT role, preferably as a PC Technician Strong knowledge and experience with PC Skills is essential Experience with Printer Hardware maintenance and troubleshooting is necessary Familiarity with iPad usage and troubleshooting is required Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as in a team Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Must have the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles Certification as an IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
