Property Description:
The property is a 55-unit condominium complex located at the summit of White Pass (4,500ft). The Village Inn is located on the north side and the White Pass ski/board area is on the south side of the highway. The Nordic ski trail is adjacent to the Village Inn on the north side of the highway. A hot pool is part of the complex. The Village Inn is a separate entity from the White Pass ski area, operated for the benefit of the individual unit owners and the general public 365 days a year as overnight accommodations thru the Association's Rental Company.
Business Manager
This is a full time, year-round position. The Business Manager is responsible for the overall business operations management of the Village Inn Association as well as the rental company. We are looking for demonstrated hospitality experience as well as HOA management. This hands-on position requires flexibility, the ability to perform multiple tasks in stressful situations, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to build and maintain partnerships across the Village Inn and White Pass community.
The Business Manager is hired by, and reports to, the Director of Operations, and Board of Directors.
Preferences: Collage degree, solid work history with demonstrated leadership experience, ability and willingness to learn, as well as the enjoyment of the outdoors.

Compensation:
Salary and Benefits package range ($75,000-$120,000) depending on experience. On or near-site housing may be available depending on applicant's situation.
Basic duties of Business Manager:
1. Directly manage and maintain all business functions of the Association and Rental operations;
2. Drive revenue for the rental company;
3. Effectively co-manage a team of 8-15 people (FTEs and Seasonal) to efficiently operate property management and rental operations, including but not limited to recruiting, training, scheduling, and performance management;
4. Ensure that all employees are flexible in work assignments to meet demand during high occupancy periods, including overnight coverage of Rental Operations;
5. Ensure that all team members provide guests and owners with exceptional service;
6. Able to work into the evening, overnights, weekends as required;
7. Respond to after-hour calls as necessary;
8. Marketing of the property to increase rental revenue, including oversight of the property website;
9. Co-create and co-operate Association and Rental budgets with the Board of Directors;
10. Oversee on-site business functions of the Village Inn (e.g. AP/AR, business performance and financial reporting) and collaborate with Village Inn accountant (off-site) and Association Treasurer as needed;
11. Interact with the Director of Operations who is responsible for the maintenance of the complex;
12. Assist with the business management (vendor contacts, payments and insurance) of Capital and Reserve Projects;
13. Make suggestions to Board on potential Capital and Reserve projects;
14. Maintain adequate office staffing.
15. Help establish, train and evaluate job standards and areas of responsibility as needed;
16. Ensure cleanliness and safety in and around the complex;
17. Ensure compliance with federal, state and county laws/regulations;
18. Maintain positive relationships and regular communication with Village Inn owners and Board of Directors;
19. Collaborate with the General Manager of the White Pass Co. as well White Pass Co. personnel as needed;
