Pastry chef

The team behind The Morris and the upcoming Sirene in Oakland is seeking a pastry chef to join our expanding team. Ideal candidates will have a minimum 3 years experience in management, a love for hand crafted personal cooking, and a great knowledge of California’s amazing bounty. This is a very hands on position so being a leader in management as well as in technical skills, creativity, teaching and work ethic is paramount. Experience with bread, breakfast pastries and laminated doughs as well as plated desserts are greatly appreciated.
