Job Summary: The Warehouse/Delivery Driver is responsible for managing warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping, and receiving, and general upkeep of the facility. Additionally, this role involves performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure that equipment and infrastructure are in optimal condition, also delivering tools and equipment to various job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Duties:
o Oversee the receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming goods.
o Manage inventory control, including stock rotation and accurate record-keeping.
o Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
o Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
o Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe manner.
o Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals and deadlines.
o Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on warehouse equipment and machinery.
o Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance needs.
o Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and operational issues.
o Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
o Assist with facility improvements and upgrades as needed.
o Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Delivery Duties:
o Deliver tools and equipment to various jobsites
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.
Proven experience in warehouse operations and maintenance, preferably in a similar role.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment and perform basic repairs.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items as needed.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Basic knowledge of safety regulations and practices.
CDL(willing to train
Clean Driving Record
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a warehouse environment, which may include exposure to varying temperatures and conditions.
The role may require lifting and carrying heavy items and standing for extended periods.
Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required based on operational needs.
