Project Manager for Retail Home-Improvement

We’re seeking a new Project Manager with experience in building decks, sunrooms, screen porches, roofing, siding, fencing and other home improvements. The ideal candidate will be able to provide our customers with excellent communication and customer service. This role requires competent computer skills along with time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and oversee home improvement projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Collaborate with customers to understand project requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.

Conduct site evaluations and assessments to determine project feasibility, scope, and resource requirements.

Procure materials, equipment, and subcontractors necessary for project execution, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations.

Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets quality standards and project specifications.

Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports, and maintain accurate records.

Provide regular updates to customers regarding project status, milestones, and any potential delays.

Foster positive relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members to facilitate smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry best practices at all times.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong knowledge of construction principles, techniques, and materials, with the ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Valid driver's license and reliable truck.
