Internship - Electrical Engineer (Hybrid)
Job Description:Summary:
The person in this position will work with project teams providing electrical
engineering and related technical expertise. Work may include performing basic
engineering calculations and analysis, developing details of design,
assisting in the design of solutions, monitoring construction projects,
and preparing drawings, specifications, and sketches. Work may involve
tasks related to power distribution and controls and instrumentation. All
applications must include transcripts.Minimum Qualifications:Electrical or other related engineering majorAt least two semesters of physics and three semesters of mathematicsJunior or senior standing with a minimum of one full-time semester of
undergraduate or graduate coursework remaining after the internshipStrong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and the
ability to communicate effectively with project team members and clientsFamiliarity with Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Office softwareFamiliarity with AutoCADConscientiousness concerning the accuracy, appropriateness, and timeliness
of resultsThorough, organized, detail-oriented approachA flexible working style and the ability to work both independently and with
teams of specialists to meet client and project needsLegal authorization to work in the United States without the need for
sponsorship by Barr, now or in the futurePossession of a valid driver's license and acceptable driving recordPreferred Qualifications:GPA of at least 3.2/4.0Degree with a focus in power systemsA hybrid work arrangement may be considered for this position. A hybrid work
arrangement refers to splitting time worked between a Barr office and a home

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $25.80 -
$27.30/hour. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education,
skill level, and other compensable factors. Employees in this position may
also be eligible for a discretionary cash bonus. Our compensation comes in
