Rader's Engraving has been in business for 55 years in the heart of Boston in the Jewelers Exchange building. We are a full-service engraving, sign, award & giftware shop.

We focus on creating custom orders as per our customers needs.

We personalize and create our own items as well as customer-supplied items.

People come to us because they are familiar with the high level of quality service we provide.

This job is full time 9-5 M-F

The ideal candidate should have:

A high affinity for Client Service in person, on the phone, and via email.

Comfort working in a showroom and office

The ability to manage multiple projects

The ability to think on your feet and problem solve

High level of communication

Attention to detail

Have some design experience

Be able to read and use a ruler very well.

Everything we do needs to be exact to specifications.

We expect our associates to be responsible for:

Daily operation (open and close) of our showrooms

Greeting clients and educating them on our products and processes.

Take orders from customers for custom work with no room for mistakes.

Various administrative duties.

Assisting other employees in completing their tasks when called for.

Cleaning and organizing

Ideally, we would like our Associates to grow in the following areas:

Knowledge of the industry as a whole; encompassing our organizational structures, culture, brand, and ethics.

Knowledge of our products and vocabulary to be applied in the work environment.

Our design and sales process

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Speak English fluently and communicate in person, on the phone, and via email.

Must be able to use Microsoft word

Be on time and self-motivated
