Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, specifications, and related documents.
Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, specifications, and related documents
Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
QualificationsEducation, Skills, Experience & Abilities:
High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent.
5+ years’ experience working in Printing environment
Computer experience, Microsoft Office products experience – Strong Excel Skills a Must
Experience working with customers and Sales
Project management experience
Quality focus, problem solving, phone/email, resolving conflict, and multi-tasking skills
Knowledge of print terminology a plus, but not required
Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentThis job operates in an office environment. However, frequent trips to the production floor and other buildings is expected.
