You will be part of our rapidly growing MOT Department which works directly with the structural, geotechnical, traffic, civil, drainage, roadway, rail, and materials disciplines in engineering, estimating and construction. Join us at Kiewit, where we go beyond construction to develop the ultimate road to success.LocationThis position is located in our Lone Tree, CO office.Responsibilities Develop proficiency in the execution of technical and administrative functions of the project or study, including design calculations, plan production, construction planning, and cost estimation for maintenance of traffic (MOT) design team Learn and apply skills for creating surface models utilizing OpenRoads Designer, InRoads, Civil 3D and/or other similar design software Prepare technical reports and documentation of activity for the client and project management Obtain, analyze, and circulate technical and contractual information to project disciplines Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriateQualifications Bachelor’s degree or greater in Civil Engineering GPA above 3.0 preferred Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam preferred or eligibility to take it History of relevant class projects, internships and/or coursework during college Familiarity with design-build delivery is preferred Basic CAD skills in Bentley Microstation/InRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Excel and Word Experience developing construction plans for transportation projects is preferred Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing The ability to work independently and as part of a teamOther Requirements: Regular, reliable attendance Work productively and meet deadlines timely Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
