job detailsjob summary:OpenText Systems Analyst with a background in legacy Novell solutions to perform a comprehensive assessment and discovery of the existing OpenText infrastructure. This role will focus on understanding and documenting the current environment, including eDirectory, file and print services, Identity Manager, ZCM Desktop Endpoint Management, and Client Access. Experience in the Novell ecosystem, especially someone who held CNE (Certified Novell Engineer) or Master CNE certification, this is a perfect opportunity for you to leverage your expertise in modern OpenText environments.location: Grand Rapids, Michiganjob type: Contractsalary: $100 - 110 per hourwork hours: 8am to 5pmeducation: Bachelorsresponsibilities:

Conduct a thorough assessment and discovery of the current OpenText environment, including infrastructure, services, applications, and policies.

Review and document existing business rules, workflows, and IT policies related to OpenText and Novell services.

Analyze and assess eDirectory, file and print services, Identity Manager, ZCM Desktop Endpoint Management, and Client Access to determine system performance and integration points.

Provide recommendations for optimizing or upgrading the current infrastructure based on discovery findings.

Work with cross-functional IT teams to ensure proper alignment of services with business needs.

Create detailed documentation, including assessments, recommendations, and proposed changes for management and stakeholders.
