IT Auditor

Description We are in search of an IT Auditor to join our team based in New York, New York. This role involves serving as the IT audit director for multiple clients in the technology industry, helping them develop their technology risk universe to guide and determine the IT and operational audit plans, as well as execute the annual IT audit plan. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Guide clients in the development of their technology risk universe to shape IT and operational audit plans. Execute the annual IT audit plan in a timely and efficient manner. Leverage expertise in Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for auditing purposes. Utilize CobiT to manage IT governance and ensure compliance. Prepare and present Audit Reports to stakeholders with detailed findings and recommendations. Use DCAA audit program to ensure compliance with government standards. Monitor and manage Accounting Functions as part of the audit process. Regularly review and update Audit Plans to reflect changes in the business environment. Communicate Audit Findings to clients and provide guidance on corrective actions. Continuously improve auditing processes and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
