If you're ready to contribute to this exciting chapter in Tarleton's rich history of excellence in teaching, we encourage you to apply!The External Program Coordinator II, under general supervision, works closely with leadership to plan, develop, and implement Tarleton Today programs. Reporting directly to the Tarleton Today Director, this position manages external processes for dual enrollment/dual credit programs. Key responsibilities include promoting dual enrollment course offerings to schools across Texas, maintaining district partnership records and communications, and building strong relationships with Texas independent school districts to highlight the affordable, high-quality education at Tarleton State University.This is a full-time position with the potential for flexible work arrangements to meet program demands. Occasional travel may be required. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, or as needed based on work requirements. Requires the ability to teach and/or work remotely at the University’s discretion.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Establish new and maintain existing partnerships with high schools in Texas and beyond to offer dual enrollment/credit options from Tarleton State University.

Manage all dual enrollment records related to districts including MOUs, course requests, teacher applications, and student applications.

Liaise between Tarleton Today course faculty members and high school teachers to ensure high-quality, consistent experiences that promote student learning.

Coordinate scheduling and implementation of quality professional learning and development experiences for Tarleton Today high school faculty.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all district partners, high school teachers, and students.

Oversee regular external communications including marketing and regular informational contact with districts, teachers, students, and families.

Collaborate with Innovative Technology Solutions for student and teacher applications, Banner account creation, and student enrollment processes.

Collaborate with the Registrar’s Office for student enrollment in courses, high school and college credit decisions, and roster accuracy.

Minimum Requirements

Education – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience – Four years of program administration experience.
