If you want to make an impact on a global scale, come make a difference at Fiserv.Job TitleSenior Systems Engineer (Unisys)What does a successful Senior Systems Engineer (Unisys) do at Fiserv?In this role, you will lead all of the Unisys ClearPath MCP OS , Network, and other major software release planning and implementations. You will also configure, plan and manage system hardware upgrades and act as a technical lead on larger projects.What you will do:
Implementing and maintaining procedures to collect performance metrics and produce system performance and capacity reports
Perform analyses (e.g., performs technical research to assess system performance and capacity)
Manage and maintain 24x7 uptime on the mainframes including client related connectivity, application and platform issues
Research products, solutions, technologies, and apply results to create presentations/documentation
Establish and implement auditing standards and present evidence to the auditors (internal and external) for CAS, PCI, FFIEC, and SOC assessments
Identify system performance bottlenecks and recommending performance improvement solutions
What you will need to have:
5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering in a MCP operating system environment, EMC disk subsystems, WFL, COMS, as well as knowledge of Windows, DASDL, and DTP
3+ years of experience in solution architecture, including designing and implementing scalable
Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, military, and work experience
What would be great to have:
COBOL experience preferred
Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose complex infrastructure issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
Salary Range$75,600.00 - $135,000.00These pay ranges apply to employees in Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, Rhode Island and Washington. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.Thank you for considering employment with Fiserv. Please:
