Chef de Cuisine / Executive Sous Chef
Nostrana Ristorante & Bar is a new Italian restaurant opening this fall in Boonton Twp, NJ! Our seasonally inspired menu features local produce & homemade pasta. Our beverage program highlights fine Italian wines from boutique producers, signature cocktails and unique spirits/liqueurs.
We are seeking an experience Chef de Cuisine / Executive Sous Chef to help lead our team.
Applicants must be dynamic, hardworking and team oriented. Candidates must be able to adapt quickly to changing situations, pay attention to details, and anticipate the needs of our kitchen. Preferred experience with Italian cuisine, including making homemade pasta. Responsibilities will include working alongside our Executive Chef to create seasonal menus, oversee our BOH team's schedule and daily operations, run the line during service, maintain DOH standards, handle inventory & ordering, and more.
Weekend availability required. NYC experience preferred but not required.
