Job Opening: Sandwich Maker/Line Cook

Location: Sainatos Deli and Catering, 423 Quail St, Albany, NY 12208

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of kitchen or line experience

- At least 21 years old

- Strong knife skills; ServSafe certification a plus

- Experience with slicers (cold meats, cheeses, produce)

- Experience operating a register and handling transactions

Core Responsibilities:

- Prepare and fulfill sandwich orders from customers

- Slice cold cuts, cheese, and produce using both hand and machine techniques

- Assemble sandwiches with selected ingredients and condiments

- Cook and prepare items like chicken cutlets, eggplant slices, bacon, etc.

- Safely and efficiently use knives, slicers, and other kitchen tools

- Maintain clean, organized sandwich station and restock as needed

- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, working well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
