We are looking for a dedicated Lead Cashier to join our team and help ensure that our customers have the best experience from the moment they step through the door.

Job Summary:

The Lead Cashier is responsible for overseeing the front-of-house operations, including managing cash transactions, supervising cashier staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will be a key part of creating a warm and friendly environment. You will also assist with order taking, cashier duties, and maintaining a smooth workflow during busy shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers with a friendly, positive attitude and provide exceptional customer service.

Accurately process transactions using the POS system (cash, credit, gift cards, etc.).

Supervise and train cashier staff to ensure smooth and efficient front-end operations.

Monitor cash drawer, balance transactions, and handle cash drops at the end of shifts.

Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the front counter, dining area, and cashier stations.

Assist with taking orders for both dine-in and take-out, answering customer inquiries, and providing menu recommendations.

Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner, escalating when necessary.

Support management in overseeing daily operations and assisting with inventory tracking and supply ordering as needed.

Lead by example by maintaining a positive and productive attitude, especially during peak hours.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and manage cashier staff.

Ability to handle high-pressure situations with a calm and positive demeanor.

Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.

Passion for providing outstanding customer service.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
