2025 Summer Intern – Enterprise Innovation - Operations Specialist

This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Warren Technical Center three times per week, at minimum.What You’ll Do:As an Enterprise Innovation Intern in Operations, you will be an integral part of the Operations team, which supports all phases of innovation work, from ideation strategy to commercialization. This team ensures that the entire process is set up for success. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the cross-functional Enterprise Innovation team with tasks such as consumer insights, competitive research, branding and messaging, advertising/media, sales enablement, and communications.
Assisting in identifying and managing top-tier marketing and program management tools, processes, and resources.
Capturing team learnings, analyzing trends, and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
Providing actionable recommendations to enhance entrepreneurial approaches to innovation.

Your contributions will directly support the Enterprise Innovation team in fostering a culture of innovation and driving transformational change across the GM ecosystem. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help to identify and develop new value propositions that align with GM’s strategic goals.Your work will involve:
Driving Innovation : Your insights and research will inform key decisions, helping to shape innovative strategies and solutions that address real-world challenges and opportunities.
Enhancing Efficiency : By assisting in the management of marketing and program tools, you will streamline processes, making the team more effective and agile.
Supporting Growth : Your contributions to consumer insights, competitive research, and sales enablement will support the development of new products and services, driving growth and enhancing shareholder value.
Fostering Collaboration : Your role in capturing team learnings and analyzing trends will promote continuous improvement and foster a collaborative environment where new ideas can thrive.
Required Qualifications:
Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas: Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Management/ Leadership or General Business
Must be graduating between May 2026 - December 2027
Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week

Start dates for this internship role are May of 2025.Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $4,100-$4,400, dependent upon class status and degree.
GM will provide a one-time lump sum taxable stipend payment to eligible students selected for the 2025 Student Program.
