Classes Held Monthly - Min 3 Months Experience

The course is delivered in a blended format course with 2 parts - Part 1 the instructional portion administered online (state tests) and Part 2 the clinical hands-on portion in person in our facility offered 1 day per month

Out of State Dental Assistants or On The Job Trained Florida Dental Assistants can take a 1 day blended course to obtain their Florida Dental Assistant Certifications- EFDA and Dental Radiology Certification. All Courses are Approved by the Florida Board of Dentistry.

6 Week Orthodontic Dental Assistant Training Course - $900

The course is meant to train an individual on the entry level basics of being an Orthodontic Dental Assistant or to expand the skills of an existing Expanded Functions Dental Assistant.

The course is 6 weeks 4 hours per week.

Experience Necessary.

Maximum of 8 students per class.

Temporary Crown and Bridge Refresher Course $300

This is a 4 Hour ALL HANDS-ON Refresher Course for the dental assistant that would like additional training on fabricating a temporary crown and bridge.

This Course will focus on:

Alginate/VPS impression before tooth preparation

Fabricating an Anterior Temporary Crown

Fabricating a Posterior Temporary Crown

Fabricating a 3-Unit and a 6-Unit Temporary Bridge

Focus on Anatomy, Contacts and Margins

Dental X-Ray Refresher Course $195

4 Hour Hands-On Refresher Course for individuals with prior experience.

This course will refresh the individual on the proper techniques of taking:

Bitewings (BMX)

Full Mouth Series (FMX)

Individual Periapicals (PAs) utilizing a digital sensor

NOTE: This course does not provide a Certification in Dental Radiology from the Florida Board of Dentistry and is meant as a refresher course prior to or after obtaining a Dental Radiology Certificate
