Accounting Manager

Description Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for an Interim Accounting Manager to support our national non-profit client through their upcoming single audit deadline. The project will be primarily on-site in the client’s Mid-Wilshire office (4 days). This Accounting Manager will report into the EVP of Finance and take the lead to proactively review financials for the national umbrella organization and local chapters, identify areas for clean-up, and perform necessary adjustments in preparation for the upcoming audit. This Consultant will be responsible for liaising with the new auditors and will gather schedules and supporting documentation for the client’s external audit partner (PBC list).Requirements

Previous experience with single audits for non-profit organizations

Extensive knowledge of non-profit accounting, funding, compliance and processes

Previous experience with Financial Edge software highly preferred

Ability to communicate with counterparts in different geographic locations

Ability to be resourceful and thrive in deadline-driven environments

Must be able to work on-site in the Mid-Wilshire area of Los Angeles
