Consults with other health care disciplines to coordinate therapeutic programs and discharge planning for individual patients. Instructs patients and caregivers in home program exercises and functional activities. Assists with patient program management, while delivering quality patient services. Routinely mentors other clinicians in the provision of high quality patient care.QualificationsRequirements:Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.B.A./ B.S./ or DPT - Graduate of Physical Therapy ProgramArizona Physical Therapy Licensure. CPRMinimum:5+ years of progressive experience in an area of clinical expertise and objectively demonstrates advanced skills as evidenced by the following:
Experience treating complex unique and specialized disorders effectively
Experience training other clinicians in a specialty area or technique
Completion of a MINIMUM of one of the following:
(a) Non-Entry level certification by a nationally or internationally recognized professional organization/academy(b) Author of a recognized Advanced Competency/Program(c) Successful completion of a recognized Advanced Competency/ProgramPreferred Experience:Advanced credentials by a recognized entity and Clinical specialization.
