SummaryThe App Development Analyst II will lead moderately complex projects that require skill in a diverse array of programming expertise. This role is responsible for application analysis, design, development, integration, enhancement, and support of complex issues. Duties and Responsibilities

Supports various COTS software products including Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, and SharePoint.

Manages software packages throughout their entire lifecycle including planning, implementation, deployment, ongoing maintenance, updates, and eventual decommissioning.

Works directly with business customers and technical team.

Contributes to implementation strategy discussion for testing to ensure functionality supports business processes.

Writes clean, efficient, and well-documented code which may include Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) configurations.

Collaborates with technical team to improve product’s functionality.

Conducts code reviews, quality assurance activities, and practice fundamental Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes.

Stays up to date with application releases, adjacent relevant technology, and industry best practices.

Authors knowledge sharing documentation.

Participates and leads application tasks specific to multiple medium level projects.

Provides value added coding based on understanding business process.

Applies application patches and/or collaborate with other teams to ensure application stack is patched against known vulnerabilities.

Identifies appropriate level of team interactions to resolve issues and lead effective collaboration and meetings.

Demonstrates skill in identifying and resolving technical problems and effectively communicating the problems to vendors, customers, and team members.

You Must Have

Two or more years of direct work experience.

Bachelors degree, certification or two additional years of direct work experience in lieu of Bachelors degree or certification.

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.

Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.

United States Citizenship, with the a bility to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations).

We Value

2+ years experience as a Jira administrator.

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience collaborating within Agile teams.

Core competencies in the following languages and applications (i.e., SQL, JQL, .NET, Linux).

Industry knowledge of manufacturing, government, and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).

Demonstrated initiative to maintain technical currency through outside studies and training.
