Leasing Specialist
Description Robert Half is partnering with reputable and fast-growing affordable housing company committed to providing quality housing solutions for our clients. We are seeking a hands-on Leasing Specialist to join our dynamic team to help manage our portfolio of properties, work closely with our residents, and assist with the day-to-day operations of our leasing office.Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the selection of eligible applicants for affordable housing in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.
Effectively communicate and maintain relationships with prospects, residents, community partners, and stakeholders.
Conduct apartment viewings for potential tenants and assist with move-in processes.
Process rental applications, conduct background checks and negotiate lease terms.
Ensure prompt response to tenant inquiries or complaints.
Monitor and regularly update available property listings.
Requirements
Proven experience (1-3 years) as a Leasing Specialist or similar role.
Good understanding of Fair Housing Laws, Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations, Section 8, Tax Credits.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and property management software.
Exceptional customer service with a professional demeanor.
