We are looking for a skilled professional to fill a direct hire position for a Data Analyst (Azure) at our customer's office in Mendota Heights, MN, with an annual salary of up to $140,000. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise environments.Candidates must also be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship both now and in the future.Key Responsibilities:Data Warehouse Development: Design and deploy a robust, scalable cloud-based data warehouse using Azure Fabric to fulfill the organization's analytical requirements.BI Infrastructure Management: Oversee and enhance BI infrastructure, including databases, ETL processes, and data models, to ensure effective data processing and reporting availability. Maintain data security through appropriate role configurations.Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess and optimize the performance of the data warehouse and BI systems, focusing on improving query performance, data load efficiency, and retrieval processes.Data Governance & Quality Assurance: Establish and uphold data governance policies to guarantee data accuracy, quality, and compliance with both internal and external standards.Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business stakeholders, including finance and operations teams, to clarify data requirements and provide effective solutions that enhance key business functions.Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of database administrators, data engineers, and support staff, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data warehousing and BI to promote ongoing improvements in the enterprise data environment.Qualifications:Education & Certifications:A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant discipline.Azure certifications, especially in Azure Fabric, are strongly preferred.Experience & Skills:More than 7 years of experience in SQL development and data warehousing within enterprise environments.Demonstrated experience in managing OLAP cubes and data models within a data warehouse.Proficient in data integration and ETL tools, particularly in an Azure context.Familiarity with AI and machine learning technologies is advantageous.Proven ability to support database users throughout the enterprise.Expertise in database architecture, ETL workflows, business intelligence, and advanced analytics.Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, including business analysts, developers, and subject-matter experts.Strong project management skills with the capacity to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Communication Skills:Must possess excellent reading, writing, and communication skills in English to effectively engage with both employees and business stakeholders.This position is an excellent opportunity for candidates with significant experience in large-scale enterprise environments who are eager to take on a challenging role that promotes leadership and innovation.
