Senior Treasury Analyst
Actively looking to hire a Senior Treasury Analyst to join the team on a Monday to Friday basis! This is a 5 days a week on site role located in Miami FL! No weekends or holidays! Must be bilingual in Spanish. The hours are 9am to 6pm EST Overview:
Manage cash strategies and positions that support financial reporting, tax compliance, and consolidations.
Maintain an efficient system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities and support financial reporting.
Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
Monitor projected cash flow positions in line with the availability of funds to properly manage excess operating cash for optimal interest income.
Develop appropriate reporting and modeling capabilities to support short and long-term liquidity forecasting needs by working closely with the finance team and departments.
Manage relationships and negotiations with financial institutions, banks, etc. on services related to treasury, cash management, collection firms, payment mechanisms and others.
Analyze core business and back office operations leading the execution of cross-functional action plans for cash flow optimization.
Lead investment strategy, programming, registration, reporting and compliance processes, based on the Investment Policy and investment committee guidelines.
Manage relationships with investment portfolio brokerage and trading service providers and related risk advisor.
Management of risks related to cash, bank accounts, cash, investments, payments, collections, providing the required care and balancing with BMI's operating needs.
Negotiate and manage the loans required by the operation.
Lead the scheduling and execution of cash flows based on budgets and projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field (Masters preferred)
4+ years work experience in Treasury/Cash Management or banking field preferred
Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
Must be bilingual in Spanish
