Flatbed/Step Deck Trainer (On & Off Training Position)

Are you an experienced flatbed or step deck operator with a passion for teaching? We are seeking a dedicated Flatbed/Step Deck Trainer to join our team on an on-and-off training basis. In this role, you will provide one-on-one training to new drivers, ensuring they gain the skills and knowledge necessary to safely and effectively secure equipment on flatbeds and step decks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct hands-on training sessions focused on securing various types of equipment using straps, chains, dunnage, corner protectors, and other safety equipment.

- Educate trainees on pre-trip and post-trip inspection requirements, emphasizing safety protocols and best practices.

- Provide feedback and assessments to ensure trainees meet safety and operational standards.

Qualifications:

- Current trainer for flatbeds and step decks

- Proven experience operating flatbed and step deck trailers.

- Strong knowledge of securing equipment and safety regulations.

Compensation:

Pay is negotiable based on experience and training background.
