Need Laborer & Carpenter
Small start-up construction company is looking to hire 1 laborer and/or carpenter. Pay is $20-$25/hr DOE. Entry level positions, opportunity for growth. Please provide any professional references and photos of your work if you can. Please state your desired hourly wage. Willing to train the right person if you do not have much (or any) experience in construction. Job description - Exterior construction, all phases. Siding, windows, doors, framing, decking, concrete, roofing, painting. Interior construction, blinds, trim, doors, paint. Most of what I do is exterior, outside and exposed to the weather. I plan to work year round, please dress accordingly and plan for weather. I am advertising my business across Snohomish County. I will try my best to keep all work inside Snohomish County.
Current project - Marysville, WA, deck rebuild. Two structures. Need help finishing stairs, concrete, rails, paint & decking. TREX decking, picture frame detail
Next in Line - Marysville, WA, front porch rebuild. Demo existing structure, new concrete footers, 2x8 PT framing, 4x PT post and beam, cedar hand rail. TREX decking, picture frame detail.
Working on bid for next project. Marysville, WA, three car ports. (2) single carports and (1) double carport. Potential for three more if these go well. Property owner wants to work with me. Waiting on materials quotes from vendors and truss mfr. This will be a big project. All three will be built together in phases. I will need two bodies for this project.
I am a small contractor, trying to get more business and work. I need competent & trainable people in the field to help me build, so I can focus on sourcing more work. Full-time or part-time. I just want reliable, dedicated, interested, willing people.
