Fleet mechanic position available

Fleet mechanic needed to assist maintaining 40 plus Isuzu NPRs and f250/350 plow trucks.

Work environment includes:

Large clean repair facility with heated floors and vehicle lift, welders, tire machines, steel fabrication tools/machines.

Always something different to work on with a large fleet of NPR box trucks, Ford plow trucks, and small equipment.

Duties:

- Perform routine scheduled maintenance and repairs on our Fleet of vehicles.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.

- Conduct inspections and perform preventative maintenance.

- Repair or replace faulty parts and components.

- Welding skills are a plus.

- Perform tire services, including mounting, balancing, and rotation.

Qualifications:

-Will need at least your own basic tools. – All specialty tools and scanners are available to check out.

- Proven experience as a mechanic or similar role.

- Strong knowledge of engines and vehicle systems.

- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues.

- Ability to weld and solder for repairs.

- Experience with tire services, including mounting, balancing a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

Pay: Hourly based on experience
