Description We are offering an opportunity to join our team in the Service industry as an Accounts Receivable Clerk based in Lakeville, Minnesota, United States. This role involves managing customer accounts, processing credit applications, and maintaining accurate customer records. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity, and requires skills in account reconciliation, accounts receivable, billing, cash applications, cash collections, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.Responsibilities: Process, verify, and post receipts for goods sold or services rendered Review all credit balances, refunds, and adjustments, and apply adjustments and/or corrections to corporate billing records Balance daily and month-end accounts receivable to general ledger balances Work with collections personnel to verify status of delinquent accounts and solicit payments on overdue accounts Provide information to the customer service and sales departments as requested Resolve valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries Resolve invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures Resolve collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, and credit line Summarize receivables by maintaining invoice accounts, coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account, verifying totals, and preparing reports Update receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.If you are interested please click the APPLY NOW button to submit your resume and reach out to Emily Haan directly at 952-882-9399 for immediate consideration.Requirements Proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts receivable (AR) Experience in billing and cash applications Skills in cash collections and commercial collections Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP Ability to understand and apply financial concepts Strong communication skills, both written and verbal High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong problem-solving capabilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines High level of integrity and reliability Experience in the service industry would be advantageous.
