JOB SUMMARY: This Project Manager position manages IT projects for DOR in accordance with PMBOK-based standards and methodologies specified by the state of Florida and DOR. This position also provides technical assistance and consultative services to staff on a variety of complex IT projects, technical proposals, and operational reports related to security issues and audit remediations for DOR. In addition, this position makes recommendations for change that will increase project performance, communication, and consistency throughout DOR programs. The candidate must have professional experience in IT Project Management, experience or knowledge of IT security, be highly organized and self-motivating, possess excellent team building and communication skills, and be comfortable working with diverse business processes. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Two years of IT project management experience.
PREFERENCES:
PMP Certification
Experience with or knowledge of IT Security operations and issues.
3 or more years’ experience managing projects.
Experience managing stakeholders and project teams.
Experience developing and documenting requirements for IT projects.
Experience facilitating meetings / making presentations / training.
Experience using project management tools (e.g. HP PPM, Microsoft Project).
Experience in an information technology environment.

This position is eligible for partial telework after initial training period
The tentative salary for this position is $63,431.85
