This role is essential in optimizing Treasury operational efficiency and ensuring real-time visibility of crucial financial data. Build, implement, and automate processes for real-time and end-of-day data pipelines.

Engage with Treasury leaders and partners to gather requirements for high-value projects.

Collaborate with Treasury IT for project management and development in line with Ally standards.

Write well-organized Python code within our CPC framework.

Develop Python code for APIs, models, and scheduling processes.

Identify and eliminate manual processes, ensuring robust long-term solutions.

Collaborate with various business and IT partners across multiple lines of business.

The Skills You Bring

Entry Level -

Bachelor Degree in Computational Finance, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field required.

Internship or relevant experience with Treasury, Capital Markets, Accounting, Balance Sheet, Finance, Risk.

Development experience, preferably in Python.

Familiarity with automation and graphical display development experience preferred.

Familiarity with SQL, data normalization, indexing, joins, primary and foreign keys.

Familiarity with a main-stream source control system.

Familiarity with AWS components like ECS, CI/CD pipeline, and cloud capabilities.

Self-starter, able to produce quickly and independently.

Strong communication (written, verbal, and interpersonal) skills.

Integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive forward looking professional attitude.
