Apply today.About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control Management Officer to join the Corporate Risk Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM) Business Control Management (BCM) organization. This position will provide individual contributor support to the FCRM and Control leaders in the coverage and execution of the control management responsibilities across the enterprise-wide FCRM risk and control portfolio.The role will work with designated FCRM Control Senior Managers and Senior Lead Officers to focus on the execution of core control management programs and priorities, such as issues management, risk and control self-assessments (RCSA), control development and documentation, risk measurement, ongoing governance routines, and provide support to ongoing BSA/AML transformation work.In this role, you will:

Support the Control organization in developing risk mitigation strategies for business specific risks.

Support the strategy and resolution of emerging risks requiring in-depth evaluation of controls and processes.

Assist with existing and upcoming transformation BSA/AML transformation efforts across the enterprise.

Interpret policies and procedures for various FCRM functions with a focus on enterprise-wide standardization and consistency of execution.

Ensure execution consistency to mitigate risks and address regulatory requirements.

Support a specific area of coverage/portfolio related to various elements of the enterprise FCRM organization and/or business-specific FCRM execution activities.

Provide business control support to FCRM for issues and corrective actions, operational risk events, and control development work impacting multiple FCRM RAUs.

Assist with the management of Risk and Control Self-Assessment activities for select risk assessable units within FCRM and support, ongoing monitoring routines, evaluation of maintenance triggers, change requests, etc.

Support the execution of risk governance, escalation, meeting, and reporting routines for FCRM.

Provide control management support during testing engagements (i.e. ITV, EBCE, FLIV), audits and projects focused on FCRM risks and controls.

Support consistent execution of Business Control Management (BCM) responsibilities in alignment with the Control Management target operating model.

Support special projects to support the Corporate Risk Control Management function as needed.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Issues Management and control design/implementation/assurance activities

Operational and/or specialized Financial Crime Risk Management experience and expertise (e.g. Sanctions, BSA/AML, Investigations, Analytics, etc.)

Experience in a business control, audit, or compliance role with a focus on governance, reporting, issues management and/or operational risk event management

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and experience in articulation of risk both verbally and in writing

Working knowledge of enterprise functions and/or various Commercial and Wholesale business units

Project management, change management or implementation management experience

Demonstrated ability to influence and support results in a highly matrixed and global environment

Demonstrated ability to leverage available tools to achieve goals (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBI, etc.)

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to adhere to strict deadlines in a challenging environment

Ability to prioritize and to adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs

Ability to take initiative and drive objectives forward

Relevant professional certifications (e.g. ACAMS, PMP, Six Sigma, etc.)

Job Expectations:

Onsite presence required 3 days a week at the posted locations

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
