Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Facilities Manager.This role is based in Waukesha, WI. Relocation assistance will be provided.The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000.03 - $154000.04 a year.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:The Facilities Manager will oversee our 3rd party maintenance contractors who maintain production equipment and facilities/grounds for Transformer Products in our two Waukesha sites. The manager will be responsible for estimated annual spend of $10M for 3rd party contract covering maintenance budget, equipment maintenance expense, and labor spend. The incumbent will be responsible for facility upgrades outside of the 3rd party contractor’s scope and managing those projects to completion.In this role you will:

Manage contract for 3rd party maintenance activities.

Oversees contracts with outside vendors for equipment repairs and

Assures that all contractors are trained in safety matters and that insurance certificates are on file abnormal maintenance.

Lockstep with Eaton team; liaison managing daily maintenance and facilities activities.

Create a 3-5-year vision for facility upgrades and capital improvements.

Work with Eaton’s Environmental Health and Safety Team to ensure 3rd party contractor is trained and following Eaton’s MESH standards and plant emergency policies.

Stays up to date with assets/equipment, software, and maintenance changes in the TPW sites.

Participates in understanding and adhering to ISO 14001 and 9001 standards and MESH.

Enforce safety expectations, document, and communicate hazards and unsafe conditions to ensure a zero-incident culture and product conformance to electrical safety and quality standards.

Active role in assessment processes within manufacturing environment.

Participates in Continuous Improvement Kaizens/BPIs as appropriate to the facility.

Responsible for executing sustained change management as it applies to processes within manufacturing operations.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or work experience of 15+ years facilities/maintenance

5-7 years of manufacturing experience.

Must be eligible to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.

Relocation Assistance will be provided for candidates that reside outside a 50-mile radius of Waukesha, WI.

Preferred Qualifications:

15+ years experience in facilities management

Understanding of problem-solving methodologies used in determining root cause and formulating corrective action(s) - i.e. thought maps, 8D, root cause analysis, Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis, control charts, Pareto charts, A3s, etc

Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.

Experience supporting production in an Engineer to Order (ETO) manufacturing plant.

Project management experience (PROLaunch).

Strong knowledge in electrical, mechanical, equipment, machines, buildings.

Knowledge or experience in structural and architectural

Strong Project Management experience

Experience managing people

Skills:

Demonstrated ability to work with little direction and effectively operate in a team-oriented environment.

Ability to assist manufacturing operations and product designers/engineering personnel to resolve electrical design and build production issues.

Ability to interpret, suggest and resolve equipment or installation issues with multiple and varied electrical contractors.
