Maintenance Technician - $21/hour + benefits

J&F Management Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong background in handyman-style work. The ideal candidate will have experience in various maintenance tasks and a hands-on approach to ensure the apartments and complex grounds are in top condition.

Compensation:

-Hourly Rate: $21/hour

-Benefits: Health insurance, paid holidays

Key Responsibilities:

-Perform a wide range of repairs, including plumbing, drywall, light electrical work, and basic HVAC maintenance.

-Complete unit turns, including carpentry and all necessary preparations for new tenants.

-Conduct grounds and curb appeal upkeep as needed.

-Use an online work order system to receive and close out tasks efficiently.

-Comply with fair housing laws, OSHA statutes, and company safety policies.

-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and access areas with limited movement for maintenance purposes.

Qualifications:

-Proven experience in carpentry, drywall, electrical, and plumbing work.

-Familiarity with basic HVAC systems (certification is a plus).

-Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

-Ability to use an online work order system.

-Spanish speaking is a plus.
