What Quality Compliance contributes to Cardinal HealthQuality develops and implements quality policies, procedures, and processes to ensure products and services comply with regulatory standards and specifications.Quality Compliance is responsible for the development and deployment of policies, procedures and programs designed to minimize risk, enable compliant business operations, products and services, and drive uncompromised supply chain integrity.Responsibilities

Reviews all licenses and supporting documentation for prospective new customers and/or existing customers

Research certifying organizations (e.g., state Board of Pharmacy/Medical websites) and manually retrieve publicly available license details for missing individuals/entities

Communicate, both verbally and written, with internal teams to educate and provide guidance on licensing requirements

Work closely with other team members to establish best practices and meet service levels

Effectively communicate and collaborate with management and other team members to ensure all processes are being properly followed

Manage internal and external inquiries to ensure responses comply with company standards or are routed to the correct team in a timely manner

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred

3-6 years of experience, preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, preferred

Ability to adapt to changing business needs and great attention to detail

Effectively applies knowledge of job and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of assignments

In-depth knowledge in technical or specialty area

Applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems independently

May modify process to resolve situations

Works independently within established procedures; may receive general guidance on new assignments

May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members
