Corporate Salon Drama Trauma (Worth the read)
Some people say that they would never work for a national franchised salon
They heard that their sister's-friend's-brother's-aunt worked for one of those "haircut mills" a few years back, and she hated working for someone else Some dude who drove this fancy schmancy car and knew nothing about cuttin' hair! (yeah I’ve met him too)
Maybe it wasn't the aunt maybe it was you?
Did you experience "corporate salon drama trauma" and swear you'd never go back?
Rent yourself a booth That'll solve that problem Right?
But wait…
You have to PAY someone else to be able to make money
Do you sit in that chair more than your clients do?
This afternoon, while you were waiting for your next client to come see you, my stylists and barbers serviced three or four or maybe more!
While you were hoping to get one or two new clients this week, my stylists and barbers got to meet 20!
And If the tax-man hasn't come calling yet rest assured he will!
and he always gets his share plus penalty and interest.
Try this on for size… I PAY YOU to use MY chair
You don't have to use chemicals, colors, or curlers. just cut hair
If you are good enough, I will even pay you EXTRA for doing quality cuts in a reasonably short amount of time Because that's what my customers want
To be able to get a haircut AND a sandwich on their lunchbreak
or on the way home for dinner that's already in the oven
or between Billy's baseball, and Sara's soccer games on Saturday.
Many of my customers tip better if they are able to get the cut they want - without the extra wasted time of hot towels and jibber jabber Seriously
You can even keep a percentage of the money that the customers spend on products
Products that you don't have to buy I already took care of that.
All you have to do
IS CUT HAIR
Sounds too easy you say? What's the catch?
Well It really helps to be available when my customers want to get their haircuts.
This means some evenings, and weekends (especially Saturday).
The more flexible you are, the more likely you will be behind the chair when the customers come in
(I schedule for that - you don't have to worry - just show up and cut hair!)
If you are a NM licensed stylist or barber and have experience creating exceptional haircuts in a relatively short amount of time… Or if you are seriously striving to fit into that category, I can help you achieve this goal, and there is a place for you on my team! Even if you have worked for a franchised salon before, and swore you'd never do it again, let me prove to you how different my salons (and teams) are.
You see not all franchise salons are the same
Different owners run them different ways!
I want YOU to make money
Here’s how I think about it
#1 If my people don’t make money, neither do I.
#2 If my people aren’t making money they won’t be happy.
#3 If my people aren’t happy, they won’t make my customers happy.
#4 If my customers aren’t happy… they disappear.
#5 If my customers disappear, my people don’t make money.
(repeat from #1)
Now If you've read this far, I know that you will probably be interested in talking to me.
Let’s cut through the BS and get a conversation going.
By the way A conversation really does mean talking
You can leave a message if I don't answer - I promise I'll call you back!
