$75,013- $112,520 annually, Pay dependent on qualifications and in accordance with Oregon's Pay Equity Act.

Position Overview:
The City of Springfield is seeking a Legislative and Economic Development Analyst to support the City Manager’s Office. This position is core to the City Manager’s Office daily contracting and budget operations, legislative efforts, and high-profile economic development projects. A suitable candidate will have an interest in a variety of work- both long term efforts and short sprints; analytical, systems focused and people centric; regulatory and creative. As a senior level analyst this position requires confidence to work independently within program and policy areas that may be complex, sensitive, and at times fall within grey area. Training & Experience:
The City will consider any equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, education, and experience to meet minimum qualifications. Such a way to meet minimum qualifications could include:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, public administration, political science, or related field, and;
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in any of the following areas: performing project management, contracting and budgeting, developing or administering public policy, researching and analyzing data and trends to interpret for policy or programmatic application.
Preferences may be given for knowledge and experience:
Prior public sector experience.
Prior executive office or City Manager’s Office experience
Ability to speak Spanish
