Job Title: Data Engineer (Multi Levels)Location: Huntsville, AL Position Type: Full-TimeTravel Requirements: Less than 10% of the timePosition Summary: We are seeking an experienced Visual Analytics Engineer to support the development of advanced visual analytic applications. This role involves building data analytics solutions for both desktop and web-based software, leveraging advanced graphics, high-performance computing, and relational data analysis. The candidate will work with open source, COTS, and GOTS technologies to create systems that transform streams of structured and semi-structured data into actionable intelligence. Additionally, the engineer will design enterprise database strategies, set operational standards, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

Visual Analytics Application Development: Develop data analytics components for both desktop and web-based visual analytic software, utilizing advanced visualization and high-performance computing techniques.

Data Processing & Visualization: Facilitate bulk analysis of relational data using advanced graphics and visualization tools to extract and present actionable insights.

Technology Integration: Utilize open source, COTS, and GOTS technologies to build applications that process and analyze structured and semi-structured data streams.

Enterprise Database Design: Design strategies for large-scale relational databases, setting standards for operations, programming, and security.

System Integration: Integrate new systems with existing data warehouse structures and refine system performance to enhance functionality and efficiency.

Security & Compliance: Establish secure protocols and standards to ensure the integrity and protection of data within the application and database environments.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

6-8 years of experience in data analytics, software development, or database engineering.

Proven experience developing data analytics solutions for desktop and web-based applications.

Strong expertise in relational database design and construction.

Experience with open source, COTS, and GOTS technologies for visual analytics and data processing.

Ability to design enterprise database strategies and set standards for programming, operations, and security.

Familiarity with integrating new systems into existing data warehouse architectures.

Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
