Nature & Scope:
A Maintenance Tech is responsible to ensure all equipment is working and that routine maintenance is done.The Maintenance Tech is to have a strong mechanical ability and complete understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.Specific Job Responsibilities & Duties:
Detect malfunctions through observation
Run diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality
Repair broken or faulty machine parts
Perform emergency repairs
Choose appropriate materials based on mechanical needs
Align and calibrate machine parts
Follow safety rules and regulations
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Observing mechanical devices in operation to locate the sources of problems and ensure the proper functioning of the machinesExperience:
High School Diploma/GED
Previous experience as a maintenance tech or similar role
Completion of Technical/Vocational training
Great understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics
Ability to read and/or interpret machinal, pneumatic and hydraulic blueprints or schematics
Familiarity using various power and hand tools, such as hosts and grinders
Functional knowledge of mechanical components
Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy loads
Problem solving and organizational skills
Basic understanding of electrical and control wiring
Reads and follows manuals, blue prints, and other written instructionsDominant Physical Requirements & Essential Job Functions:
