Dispatcher – Arctic Transport LLC

We are a family-owned trucking company based in Pacific, WA.

Our goal is to provide our customers with exceptional service and with result-oriented solutions while maintaining great long-term relationships with our drivers.

We are looking to hire a goal-oriented Dispatcher to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Establishing and maintaining relationships with drivers

Organizing drivers’ whole week runs

Contracting services and negotiating price and details with brokers and drivers

Booking freight at the best possible rate and ensuring both customers' and drivers' satisfaction

Fulfilling client requests and specific requirements

Creating relationships with new clients

Making sure the correct documentation (BOLs, Rate Confirmations, etc.) are attached to the shipments

Effectively communicating with drivers, safety, and accounting all necessary information

Being solution oriented and thinking ahead and outside the box

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of dispatching experience

Established relationships with brokers is a plus

Knowledge of programs like ITS DISPATCH and Motive is a plus

Excellent understanding of hours of service

Ability to work on site from 6 am to 3 pm, Monday-Friday

Outstanding communication skills over the phone

Working independently and taking initiative in stressful situations

Capability of multitasking

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
