Your Role AccountabilitiesDuties could include:

Interns will gain experience in the production of a program and see how show ideas are developed, how video is gathered and edited, the script-writing process, and how the program is built from an editorial and production perspective.

Interns will also learn how to use CNN's video library to locate elements for packages and sound bites for air.

Interns will help share the content across multiple platforms including social media.

This internship will offer a great opportunity to strengthen your research and communication skills while contributing to the show and participating in daily and planning meetings.

In production, interns learn how to transcribe tape, identify video and use the various CNN databases, write for air, and work with producers from story inception to finished package.

Interns will book and greet show guests and assist in basic administrative tasks.

Qualifications & ExperienceEssentials needed for the positions that are similar across the above roles (these do not all have to apply to every single role)

Strong communication and writing skills

Works well on a team setting and in a fast-paced environment

Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required )

Must be a rising Senior or Graduate Student (18 years or older)

Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above cumulative GPA) A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended.

Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Warner B ros. Discovery now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States. Candidates currently on any student or exchange visa, including F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1, etc., will not be eligible for the internship program.

The duration of the program is 1 2 weeks

Program dates:Start Date: January 2 7 thEnd Date: April 1 8 th

Interns will be expected to work 16-24 hours per week in an in-person capacity .

Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required ; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided .

Interviewing will take place from October through December . A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation for roles in locations where legally required.
