Service Technician (IT)
Ashley & Vance Engineering seeks an enthusiastic individual to join our team in the San Luis Obispo office as a Service Technician within our IT Department. We are a growing consulting firm that employs over 100 people in nine branch offices throughout the western United States. Our people are creative, energetic, and forward-thinking. Our perfect candidate has at least 1 year of experience in a technical support or IT environment. While prior experience in helpdesk support, network troubleshooting, or IT administration is preferred, it is not required. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, and a positive attitude. The candidate should be eager to learn, possess a keen interest in technology, and have a customer-centric approach to providing support and solutions. They will work with our lead IT person to provide internal IT support. Although we prefer candidates who have CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications or equivalent knowledge, we are ready and willing to provide additional training to someone with the right mix of professionalism, motivation, and intuition.
