Residential Construction Project Manager
Seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our crew. We are home builders and talented craftsmen working with great clients and top designers/architects across Greater Boston (Metro West, North Shore & Southern NH). Work includes full interior and exterior renovation and restoration, new construction and additions. A strong focus on fine interiors, custom cabinetry and architectural woodworking from our in-house shop.
Ideal candidates are professional, reliable, and positive, and work well with all project stakeholders. This position manages all aspects of the construction process from start to end. Including pre-construction design and planning, estimating, scheduling, subcontractor and vendor management, quality control, and closeout. Projects will vary and may include medium-large single-family residential renovations and additions, single-family new construction, and potentially some multifamily construction. Duties would include managing small crews of team members, coordinating and scheduling with owners, sub-contractors and vendors. Our work spans the Greater Boston, North Shore and some NH/ME coastal and lakes regions.
Qualifications:
5-10+ years experience in the residential construction field, or associated trade
Knowledge of frame-to-finish carpentry, building codes, and best practices
Comfortable working directly with clients, team members, subcontractors and vendors regularly
Self-motivated work ethic, organized and efficient
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Professional demeanor and appearance
Time and budget management experience
Comfortable with computers, email, and construction management software technology (Microsoft, Google Suite, Corecon+, ArchiCAD+)
Requirements:
Clean driving record
Comfort navigating projects across the North Shore, Metro West, greater Boston, and coastal NH/ME
