Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional service and make our guests feel welcome at all times.
Friendly and timely service with guests and team members are at the core of the roles.
Provide timely and courteous service to Hill Country guests in assigned station as well as other tables in the restaurant.
Thorough knowledge of menu items, wines, beers, and cocktails.
Assist in assembling orders behind the counter, including portioning out barbecue meats, sides, and sauces.
Process payments, handle cash, and provide accurate change while maintaining a balanced cash register.
Stay informed about menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens to answer customer questions.
Assist with inventory checks and notify management when stock is low on popular items.
Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
Help with special events or catering orders when required, ensuring that service standards are maintained.
Retrieve and deliver food orders from the counter to customers, ensuring that all items are correct and presented well.
Regularly check in with customers to ensure they have everything they need and address any additional requests.
Requirements and Qualifications:
6 mos. to 2 years related experience required.
6 mos. in full- service restaurant required.
Must have a working knowledge of dining room and service procedures.
Must be able to speak and follow written and verbal communications, along with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Preferred:
Food Handler’s certificate.
High school diploma or equivalent.
6 mos. to 2 years related experience required.
6 mos. in full- service restaurant required
