Lead Painter Needed For Immediate Hire!
Small construction firm is looking for a Lead Painter to start working with our company IMMEDIATELY. Experience leading, planning, and overseeing the work of a small group of painters is preferred, but not necessary. W4/ Weekly payroll.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee will be exposed to dust, fumes, gasses or airborne particles. May work with asbestos and other lead materials. The noise environment is usually moderate.
Compensation is $23- $26 per hour depending on experience and skill level.

- Supervises and participates in the proper cleaning, care and storage of tools and equipment
- Prepares lists, order supplies and completes pick-up/ deliveries of supplies for all paint jobs
- Ability to apply paints and finished neatly and accurately, mix paints and finishes and match colors, work from
scaffolds, rigging and ladders, select the most appropriate materials
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attendance and timeliness
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to work overtime, occasional holidays, and adjust working hours to meet special jobs. May be called
back periodically to perform work as needed on an emergency basis
- Ability to work with a small team
HEAVY WORK – 50% or more of the activities involve walking, standing, squatting, kneeling or climbing; lifting heavy weight objects which may exceed 50 pounds. Frequently lift and carry heavy materials, tools, and equipment such as paint cans, ladders, and scaffolding components. Spend long periods standing or kneeling while preparing surfaces, applying paint, or performing other tasks. Perform repetitive motions such as brushing, rolling, or spraying paint. Utilize fine motor skills for tasks requiring precision, such as mixing paints, handling small tools, and applying detailed finishes.
