Manufacturing Technician

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is now hiring Manufacturing Tech roles in the Encinitas area.

Location: Encinitas, CA

Shift: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

1 month temp assignment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Production Areas:

- Bag manufacturing assistance

- Impulse heat sealing

- Product assembly

- Operate a vacuum sealer

- Use scissors to trim plastic bag products

- Maintain a clean work area

- Maintenance of warehouse space, including inventory and organization of product materials, as well as daily cleaning

- Organized record keeping

Required Qualifications and Experiences

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

- 1-2 years of relevant work experience with a relevant certification or Associate Degree, particularly within the field of aquaculture or manufacturing

- Knowledge and passion for aquaculture, farming, food systems development, manufacturing process development, etc.

- Cooperative, service-oriented attitude and ability to work independently, set priorities, and see projects through to completion

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship development skills

- Ability to be open and flexible to new ways of working with diverse communities

- Creative skills and ability to experiment to attain new strategies and solutions to challenges

- Flexibility and willingness to take on various tasks, and ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment

- Strong work ethic and ability to perform strenuous physical labor in inclement weather

- Detail-oriented
