Weekday Supper Cook for small senior living community
We are a small nonprofit senior living community looking for a positive individual with cooking experience. This shift is from 2:30 PM - 7:30 PM on weekdays. Part time, $15/ hour. Additional shifts can be picked up often and we remain flexible if you need days off at times. If you cross train as a kitchen assistant, more shifts could also be available as needed.
Great communication, flexibility, dependability, and cooking skills are a must. We do require references, a background check, and a drug test prior to being hired.
Duties include but are not limited to: cooking supper from scratch for 35 older adults, planning your weekly menus in advance (with a focus on nutritious foods), communicating with the Kitchen Supervisor, working well with the Kitchen Assistant that will help you serve meals, cleaning the kitchen and helping keep it in an organized state, following all health department regulations.
You will be paid for training and will be required to get a Food Manager Certification upon hiring.
